‘More than Just a Train Ride’ is a 25 minute program that explores the background of the Weka Pass Railway, the beginnings of the society, and how the railway was preserved. It tells the story of the enthusiasm and pure effort of all WPR volunteers, to create the nationally significant heritage site we can enjoy today.
Alongside the feature presentation, the DVD includes a 10 minute bonus video – ‘Snow Day’ – a 10-minute package following A428 as it climbs its way through the Weka Pass after a night of snow.
